"Paris Baguette"
Growing up, we frequently visited a popular bakery in Korea called Paris Baguette, renowned for its delicious sweet and savoury buns and elaborate cakes. Ironically, they weren't well-known for their baguettes. In fact, I didn't even know what a baguette was until I moved to Canada, as it’s uncommon for households in Korea to buy whole loaves of baguette. I tried my first proper baguette after moving here, and initially, I didn’t understand the hype around this tough, chewy bread. In Korea, good bread is considered light and fluffy. Now, however, I love baguettes, and the chewier, the better.
