"Covid Train"
During the pandemic lockdown, I decided to learn how to make sourdough. Despite enjoying cooking and baking, it proved more challenging than expected. It took countless pounds of organic flour and numerous flat loaves to perfect the recipe. The hardest parts were factors beyond my control, like kitchen temperature and moisture levels. Mastering the technique of forming the loaves required hours of YouTube videos and reading bread-making guides. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I'll never forget the taste of my first perfect loaf. Even my failed attempts tasted better than store-bought bread. This was the first loaf I baked I could call perfect.
