"Clam Juice Included"
A proper Canadian Caesar must include clam juice, Worcestershire, and Tabasco. Even listing the ingredients, it sounds like it shouldn’t work, but it works so well. When I first heard about this cocktail, I was baffled. I didn’t understand why anyone would want to drink cold tomato soup with vodka, especially to cure hangovers. It was a culture shock for me. After many little stolen sips from friends and my boyfriend, I eventually warmed up to the drink, and it became one of my favourites. Don’t judge, but I love the garnishes too. A good spicy Caesar on a Sunday afternoon, sitting on a patio, is to die for.
